That is true, think they were removed because they didn't want to pay the likeness rights, political reasons or some other thrid things.

I don't think they're worried about paying her. It's just that her face is linked to crying wolf concerning Nazis and they can't put it on a toy.

I so have to asked if she was a bigger stay like a Tom Cruise or Tom Hanks or a Scarlet Johansson if things would be different.

Ms. Heitkamp said this because she doesn't want to "normalize Trump." They are doubling down instead of trying to understand how he rose to prominence, because that's good for business and political corporatism. They profit like pigs off our divisions.

So how is the right in the wrong to be concerned over the direction the country is going? Don't hit all the blue checkmarks to crush dissent, "racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic," and whatever. That it's only ignorant religious churchgoers who feel this. I mean, when the fascists come in to seize everything, they are going to be using soft, friendly language or a seemingly good cause. Corporate and government expansion is reaching a zenith peak, and Mr. Biden won't be able to stop it. Mr. Trump never wanted to.

Do you want to choose between a fictional world you love or support corporations becoming new dictator states? Because I have heard the left accuse similar to the right before, that when they support businesses with a clear policy of some kinda blue checkmark, "racism, sexism," whatever, that makes you racist or sexist, that makes you a terrible person, etc, et al.

Personally, people can support whatever business they want, and a business can do whatever they want, is how I see it. Some products are worth it. It just enrages me so much to see yet more division from people who claim to oppose Mr. Trump by spreading lies and slander. This country ain't going back to normal for a long time.
Very true but this all kinda hinges on if you're just overall salty about what happened to the legends books. Amirite?
People can support whatever product they want, but we need to realize a bit more, we do have power as consumers. And today's landscape is the most consumer-unfriendly environment I could imagine. Of course, that could just be the four or six largest corporations on the planet having their hands into everything. I've never understood financially supporting something you hate. Because ever since '14, I've been sailing the high seas for DSWC content, if you nab my meaning.

Also, SWL fans were always very niche compared to the TV and movie demographic. Oh sure, you occasionally had a spike here and there, like with Mr. Zahn's TT, or the SOTE marketing campaign, or for VP (look how that turned out, haha), or so forth, but at the end of the day, we were never meant to put a dent in the mainstream-appeal audience. Though when it comes to new niche projects like HR, you can bet we can put a dent there.

Yeah except the Gina Carano issue isn't going to impact this much. LucasFilm made a pretty conscious decision to this regard.

Since I am of the persuasion that HR was pushed up to December to gain a trending spike off TM S2 finale (remember Mr. Zahn's book was pushed further up to compensate for this, he always sells), I can pretty much guarantee HR's numbers are gonna dip. I don't know how much yet, but already some of the customers at the retail outlet aren't interested, and they have cited Ms. Carano's termination.

I would like to wonder why they've canceled so many products likely as the fallout with her dismissal. Is it because of contractual likeness? If so, they ain't saying. And I wish they would, given all the heat they're getting, from Forbes, from Mr. Maher, from their own investors. It's one H of a freak show.

So you're saying she should take money along with hostile work environment?
Actually I'm saying she shouldn't be a bigot and support insurrection among other things but if she thinks both of those are worth more than money, I find it sad. Mind you, my position is that a person's bigotries should be worth less than their finances because I don't see them as worth more than self-interest. Since someone who is bigoted already has no integrity.

But this is from a woman who believes being a conservative in America is akin to being a Jew in the Holocaust.

Frankly I feel she deserves every insult you can throw at her for that one.
