So you're saying she should take money along with hostile work environment?
Actually I'm saying she shouldn't be a bigot and support insurrection among other things but if she thinks both of those are worth more than money, I find it sad. Mind you, my position is that a person's bigotries should be worth less than their finances because I don't see them as worth more than self-interest. Since someone who is bigoted already has no integrity.
But this is from a woman who believes being a conservative in America is akin to being a Jew in the Holocaust.
Calling conservatives victims though even in the manner she did isn't really bigotry, is it? I never heard her say anything about the capitol riot, just the bit about voting security which is about as generic as it gets for partisan calls to action.
The pronoun issue comes off kind of bigoted, but it's pretty understandable gen-x behavior that gets dealt with pretty efficiently.
edit: I guess this whole thing of hers was in response to the riots. It really comes together why they fired her, but she still comes off as over her head. Maybe like the JK rowling situation.
The tweet was more so helplessness at how election results nowadays just leave people angry and unsettled - and I mean really angry and unsettled, in a sports blood match sorta way. Has been since 2000 when Mr. Dubya was accused of rigging that election, then Mr. Obama was accused of not being an American, and Mr. Trump was accused of being a Russian spy. It's new and dangerous and frankly, is illusionary, we don't have a democracy and we never did. Plus the BLM freaks on Twitter forget she'd already hashtagged #BlackLivesMatter prior. They just didn't care.
I don't think it's bigoted. Really, Mr. Pascal may have done so, but many other LF employees have not? They're still there. And really, who CARES about it? Maybe it's just who I am, but I don't understand this whole pronouns thing past people who think gender and sexuality is merely a social construct with no biological basis to it. Great. There is, of course, no substantial evidence to support this one way or another, but good for them, I guess. That's one thing I dislike about the world now, just calling people you don't like or disagree with bigots. Okay, misgendering someone may be awkward, but you buckle down and then deal with it! I know trans people who have laughed it off when I misgendered 'em. This is an absurdly minority movement based on participation trophy culture and then they wonder how they can never get mainstream recognition and why woke doesn't sell.
Mr. Pascal has also made comparisons to the Holocaust, incorrect ones at times, and he's still employed. The two were also able to put aside their differences and work together in grown-up time, which seems a dying and rare art nowadays compared to the fringe on both sides that wanna pit us against one another and cause chaos.
As an aside, the HR recently unveiled two cringe woke trans characters, Terec and Ceret, going around with proper pronoun use, and I can tell you now, this is what consumers hate. It is so blatantly unimaginative, they must be getting paid by the woke points. There is most definitely a proper way to implement LGBT themes, but this feels like a far cry from that, made for a minority customer base as I've said. I mean, maybe it's not my place to remark on this, I'm not LGBT, a lot of my bisexual friends aren't too crazy about the LGBT movement, but how can you be both non-binary AND trans? What are you transitioning from? It's as if they know HR's numbers are gonna tank, and so are just throwing in what they really wanna do before it gets canned.
I've heard consumers at retail bringing up Revan and Malak and how this is just an inferior knockoff. Trust me, HR is eventually going to peter out. The Cavan Scotts and Charles Soules can't save this and many Mando fans feel uncertain with Ms. Carano gone. Not saying DSW is doomed, mind you, just that this is a very poor business and they consistently show it at every turn.

I feel like she did make a mistake, I admit I haven't read enough of her post to make a grand statement. I can say maybe she should have just log some time off of social media instead of doubling down. I also wonder if she was a major actor if things be different, then again that neither here or there. I feel they have the right to do so, and saying it was done by a leftsit mob is nonsense. I mean if she fell for a trick used in grade school, Disney is better off without her.
Yeah but what if she felt alienated as a conservative?
She chose her opinions over money, so she's not a very good conservative.
Choosing bigotry over money or personal well being is the beating heart of right wing authoritarianism.

I so have to asked if she was a bigger stay like a Tom Cruise or Tom Hanks or a Scarlet Johansson if things would be different.
She'd have gotten the admonishment, but she'd have been able to bounce back in a few years like Mel Gibson did.
I'd say calling her a bigot is false when it's online spammers bothering you all the time. She speaks very well of Mr. Pascal despite the two being on opposite planets politically - because all their interaction is in the real world. Most of these pronoun Twitter nuts find their safe spaces online. Convenient, huh?
I'd argue the same for Mr. Pascal. That he showed tolerance for Ms. Carano makes him not a bigot either. Why should one feel held hostage to online nuts just because the big companies are obsessed with social media trends?

Been awhile since I heard of him, wonder how he doing.

Yes but I think Mel Gibson have more star power than miss Carano

Why? 'Cause he's a man?
Because at the time of his drunken, antisemitic tirade he'd been a leading man for decades while she's had a supporting role in a few movies and secondary role in one major tv series.
