She'd have gotten the admonishment, but she'd have been able to bounce back in a few years like Mel Gibson did.
Yes but I think Mel Gibson have more star power than miss Carano
Why? 'Cause he's a man?
Because at the time of his drunken, antisemitic tirade he'd been a leading man for decades while she's had a supporting role in a few movies and secondary role in one major tv series.
Oh yeah.

Yeah the only other thing I saw Miss Carano in was a secondary villain in deadpool, meanwhile mister Gibson was one of the most famous take on Jesus Christ.

So I guess it all boils down to "I'm a bigot, you're a bigot, they're a bigot, she's a bigot, he's a bigot!" Though that last one may be wrong since I'm not using proper pronouns, but who freakin' cares?

I suppose the same posters here would call Mr. Burr a bigot even though he's married to a black woman, which would lead, ironically enough, to the same sentiment expressed by the Twitter nutjobs on how it's common for "everyday white supremacists" to marry their black sex slaves as property. Reverse racism from those who claim to stand against it, who woulda thought?

Aaron Burr wasn't married to a black woman. Pure odds would suggest he's at least a bigot by today's standards though.

I'm sure that wasn't what you met, but unless you specify the first use of a name, nobody will know what the fuck you're on about.

Well it certainly doesn't appear that he's stirred even a remotely similar level of shit as Carano has.

The overall sentiment was to illustrate the same posters here would call him a bigot, no doubt on past remarks or some other previous viewpoint.

Considering you can still say racist things while married to POC then yeah they might. You have no point there.

As I've said, I never felt Ms. Carano was a martyr or that her star was in danger, and yet I am dismayed that it's reached this level, so quickly, where she's being smeared as a Nazi from some ignorant tone-deaf failed political leader who somehow thinks that it's all a conspiracy to take down Mr. Biden with being concerned over the canceling of Dr. Seuss books, or simple acknowledge that our immigration system, like so much else in America now, is broken and needs reform now, or we sink.

This really is what cancel culture is becoming helmed off some radical neo-puritanical Twitter stans fresh from the echo chambers. I'm actually quite surprised we don't have a #CancelSFDebris hashtag going given the remarks he's made over a decade ago - though I REALLY don't want to give the woke lunatics ideas! Yeah, I could understand people who don't like something, but where does that end and you just shrug and agree to disagree, even defend that person's right to such an opinion? It seems like it's been shoved aside with so much else we've lost in the last few decades.

Except she said those things a year ago not ten years ago.
