So it's a pretty safe bet that Khan came into contact with the most interesting man in the world at some point, yeah?

Does McCoy ever win his verbal sparring matches with Spock, I can't remember?

Well, he did keep the two sedated and off work in Journey to Babel.Beelzquill wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 4:04 am Does McCoy ever win his verbal sparring matches with Spock, I can't remember?

His squabbling actually amounts a tragic story in his passing.

Errand of Mercy. Season 1 thoughts.
So Kirk and Spock beam down in front of rural village folk and remark about how not subtle their entrance is supposed to be taken, and I'm like, how are these guys not fired?

I didn't remember the guardian when I saw Discovery this season and I thought it the idea was kind of obscure for the particular brand of Sci-Fi that Trek has aimed to be over the years. Nonetheless I found the episode's writing to be crafted nicely and thought overall that the acts fit nicely together, and it made a bit of sense when I saw that it was written by Harlan Ellison.

Just got to Assignment Earth. I remember liking this a year or so ago when I watched TOS the first time. Funny because I never really hear people talk about this episode.
Interesting it was going to be some sort of spinoff that never took off.

I can honestly say I haven't seen the episode in 20 years or more. I am more selective in TOS episodes than I am in the other series.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 3:32 am Just got to Assignment Earth. It eventually got a comic run.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 3:32 am Just got to Assignment Earth. I remember liking this a year or so ago when I watched TOS the first time. Funny because I never really hear people talk about this episode.

You know, it wouldn't be a bad idea to give that another shot in the form of a Paramount+ series, or even just a Short Trek.
