I know Charles was making a joke about black magic and cultural appropriation- but shortly before our divorce, my ex-wife joined a coven of witches who thought they could physically injure people with spells, and were eager to do so for trivial reasons. But they agonized over which rituals they were allowed to perform and which counted as cultural appropriation. Experiences like these are why I left the left.

In all honesty I've been kind of concerned he'd be catering to that crowd thanks to some of the more ... vocal members here. It's not that I'd ever tell anyone what they can or can't put into their review videos on the internet, it's just that I'm concerned because I know that particular crowd is never satisfied. Just look at how Wil Wheaton and Joss Whedon have been treated.
