Reality that dude was a straight up troll.
Yeah, that guy was straight up 'anyone who isn't as Red as rightfully-spilt Leftie blood is a mentally ill, criminally insane, lethally stupid, commie, nazi who smells'.

There's a point where you're just trying too hard.

So really, it's just childish, insulting, nasty, and frankly bullying for Makeshift Python to call clearspira that. I know the Internet degrades our behavior, BUT COME ON. If we can't do better online, we never will in the larger society.

I’ve lost tolerance with the likes of Clearspira and Dragon Ball Fan a long time ago. So it’s kind of annoying to see you all give those guys the benefit of a doubt they never deserved. That’s you choice.

Dozens of civilians killed in Kabul bombing, including US soldiers. I maintain what I said earlier: if Trump was spearheading this disaster of an evacuation, the US, including this forum, would be up in arms. The silence is deafening.

And incidentally, Biden is easily the most fragile looking president that I have seen in my lifetime. I only really realised that this week. The man looks like a stiff-breeze could knock him down whenever he is on stage. I genuinely and without exaggeration believe that he could be the first US president since William Henry Harrison to die one night from a cold.
There is no silence except your complete silence on what you would have Biden do differently and exactly what part of his actions (The timetable? The treatment of allies?) you object to.

I swear, you're as bad as one of the teenage online activists who circulates "WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS?" posts with a news link attached, complete with the vague guilt trip.

Dragon Ball Fan is annoying in how he is a broken record. Clearspira doesn't bother me or he hasn't done it directly to me yet.

Okay. Their (for example) describing a group being a target of genocide as convenient definitely bothers me and my initial description would include probably being a troll. I'd need to reread some threads to make sure I remembered content and context correctly (and make sure I didn't mix them up with someone else) before making that statement publicly, but I'd also do that before defending them.

The sad fact is you will not find one instance in the history of mankind where an occupying army completely withdraws from a war it has effectively lost, and there is no chaos. There is always chaos, and there are always huge numbers of people left behind who fought/aided that same army. It is unavoidable, and is not the fault of the military leadership. The media is full of Monday morning QB's from right to left, but none of them have a reasonable alternative plan for what's happening there.

Related, perhaps off topic... I think any war on terror was going to be an uphill battle. I appreciate that Bush said that it wasn't a war against Islam, but at the same time, you can't WIN a war on terror. It is just literally impossible. Trying to conquer the conditions that breed and fuel terrorists is like trying to take out an abstract concept like Death over in Marvel Comics. Ideology usually trumps good intentions or whatever regimented forces you can bring to bear. History consistently bears this out. Especially since Bush and his cohorts were fueling the conditions to breed new terrorists. Oh sure, they welcomed us with open arms at first. And then we were rapidly despised within five years, our soldiers did such awful things. And you know what, perhaps this is a mistake, but I do support the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Will we pay for it a generation from now? Absolutely, I think so. But we were lied to. It was NEVER about the ideological aspects to our invasion, it was about the oil, it was a war of greed. And the War on Terror became the Forever War. It has to stop. I do like how critically-thinking clearspira is to ask the brave questions, like what makes this so different from South Korea, or imo, any other place we hold a military base, like Japan or Germany. Come on, do we REALLY expect them to become a threat now? No way. And our military budget is already bloated enough as it is. But the difference is that I can respectfully disagree with him instead of jumping down his throat. Given how badly 9/11 scarred us as a nation and single-handled trashed 1990s culture, I think atm, let us have this emotional victory. Same as it was for Bin Laden's death. I never cheered when he died, but I could admit I understood those who did. Is this a mistake? Odds are good. You should definitely take that bet. Let it be our mistake, though. After all, you can't predict the future. I have not been a huge Biden supporter, but I have to admit, I do like this, at least.

What the Hell are you talking about?

There has been open outrage about this whole situation from both the left and right with many blaming Biden for this mess.

Who do you think you're fooling with that nonsense?

Yeah, clearspira, I do want to say, I like you, I like your takes, generally, but I think that was just to egg the others on. If enough time had passed, we'd have gotten comments here. As I said, forum activity is very low these days. Used to be far higher. Even I've been gone for a year.
