Being forced into vaccination has been the standard for schools around the country for longer than most people on this board have been alive.

It didn't change. It's likely that if the vaccine is approved for under 12 the CDC or the department of education will make it mandatory for students.

Then there should be no basis for rising distrust in the institution of science. You can blame the GOP all you want, at the end of the day, the people I talk to aren't even associated with the Republicans. No one likes politicians now because we ALL admit they're paid for. Come on, vaccine shots are NOT mandatory because it has NEVER been mandatory for ME and the flu shot every year. And if they want me to take a booster every year, then fuck them, I refuse to do that. Given that the ghouls at the top just seemed to have gotten a lot more powerful because of it. Yeah, Trump is gone. He's ONE corrupt right guy, but he's a corrupt rich asshole who they could not control. We're back to the same damned thing. And why should we trust them?

Covid 19 is both significantly more contagious and significantly deadlier than any strain of flu save the original Spanish flu. Thier was a major worry last winter that covid on top of normal flu season would completely overwhelm our hospitals, but that didn't happen because our halfassed anti covid measures accidentally all but wiped out the flu.

The main reason to trust the vaccine is that all the politicians got it as soon as they could because they think it's safe and know covid is deadly.

Second dose of the Covid Vax from Wednesday left me near paralyzed for a day. My right arm is STILL hard to fully lift.

Yeah when I got my second shot, my arm became dead by the end of the night and was killing me in the morning. It felt better by the end of the day though.

Little known fact: It seems that complications from the vaccine are caused by wrong application. The vaccine is supposed to be injected into the muscle, but it's possible to hit a vein and inject it there. This isn't influencing the potency in any way, but a study showed a clear correletion between patients with such complications and improper application.
