Look, if you absolutely MUST throw an entire party just to give a color-coded announcement about your child's genitals, you can just...buy a cake that's pink or blue on the inside? I think and I might be wrong on this it's a celebration like a baby shower where the expecting parents tell everyone the gender of their baby but not sure.

The saddest thing is that the lady that came up with it made it more as a "my child is going to be born party" because being able to determine the sex of the fetus corresponds with a massive decline in the chance of a miscarriage.
