Was the Oracle in Beast Machines Evil?

This may sound weird as the Oracle is presented as this benevolent God like being but really think about this. The Oracle alters not only the bodies of the transformers that enter it but their minds too, making them completely different people from who they were before and almost everyone who does so becomes single minded often to the point fanaticism and basically force everyone on Cybrtron to become what the Oracle sees as perfect.

Yeah, it's often forgotten that the change to Cybrtronians was NOT voluntary on their behave it was forced upon them while they were all being held against their will and, if I'm remembering correctly (it has been a while since I watched it last) Optimus wasn't going to let any of them free until they agreed to be turned into tech-ganic beings. Again, I could be wrong about that so anyone who has seen the show recently please feel free to correct me.

But the fact remains that the Oracle wanted everyone to conform to what it wanted everyone to be and that is more then a bit disconcerting. I mean, imagine if Batman used some machine to brainwash people to act lawful. Would we praise him or go WTF for forcing people to conform to how he felt we should act?

But back to the Oracle, there is a old theory that the Oracle is an creation of the Quintessons that the planted on the planet to turn the Transformers in order to make them subservient. This would explain how Earth animal Skeletons (that have been fossilized) are on Cybertron and why everyone is so greatly altered and how Rhinox was able to reprogram the Oracle even though it's suppose to be part of the Matrix because it isn't it's just taking on an appearance that ties heavily into the transformers religious beliefs.

It's just theory that I was reminded so let me know what you think, is the Oracle secretly evil or is it the big good the show tries to present it as?

Yes but I'm trying to give this show SOMETHING!!! This is the only theory that lines up with the lore and creates a problem that can be solved.
