Really makes me despise ST:Picard all over again.

The actor had burned all bridges with Star Trek's production staff by accusing Anthony Rapp (Stamets on DISCO) of lying about Kevin Spacey molesting him.

I fully believe Icheb's horrific death was due to the writing staff thoroughly DETESTING the man on a personal level given Rapp's status as a well-loved cast presence who is friends with all the staff.

I mean, it goes darker became he made further tasteless jokes that Rapp willingly performed sexual favors as a minor for roles.

So no, he is NEVER coming back.

Oh, I don't doubt you. I don't really keep tabs on the actual cast of Star Trek so goss like this is always new to me.

Does anyone have any knowledge as to whether his statements are true? There have always been plenty of people willing (if not necessarily eager) to climb onto the casting couch in order to get roles.

I mean....its accusing a boy of fourteen who claims he was raped of wanting it.

So, if you've got a way to do some benign treatment to a person that makes the Borg die when that person is assimilated, seems like the best thing to do is spread that treatment to as many people on as many planets as possible.
