As far as societal conventions go, white skin has never really been deemed a rooted basis for discrimination in America. That can't be said about being not white, being lgbt, being anything but non-denominational Christian, or having some sort of disposition such as autism.

For a number of those things you can be white as well, but that isn't a factor that people are looking for when they are trying to look at discrimination specifically. If a group of disparately connected white people are being discriminated against, then being white is most likely not a factor, or not a systemic/institutional/historical issue .

And about your reply to my last point. The people who I complain about spreading hate with the idea that it's okay against certain people do and want to influence people.
That's more a conjecture on your part than it is fact, now isn't it.
Yes, they are twitch and YouTube streamers who outright say that they want to influence the people watching to have the same values as them.
But the fact that they're saying it about cops is no different than if they were saying it about anyone. It's not condoned period, but there's no rule that says they can't say heinous things to people.
And the perpetrators of the torture livestream did it specifically because their victim was white. He was also autistic but they only picked an autistic kid because he was easier to ambush and kidnap. And as a fellow Autistic, I feel worried that others on the left don't seem to care about the possibility of this happening again.
Yes, and from what I tell you, it is completely possible to be discriminated against while being white, and for being white. As far as political issues are concerned though, it doesn't overlap.

How is him being assaulted wile his attackers scream "fuck white people." Not an anti-white hate crime?

And those streamers didn't say those horrible things about cops but they it seems obvious to me that they are the reason for the other individuals who did.

As far as I know, it is. Authorities would probably deem it a hate crime when prosecuting the people who committed the crime. Standard operating procedure.

That's in lieu of political affairs that tend to take place for a demographic when the above conditions (as an example) are not met; which is generally not the case for white people or cops.

It still feels like other leftists our not concerned about it happening again as long as it is happening to individuals.

And it does seem to be a systemic issue that police have a very high suicide rate but other leftists seem incapable of caring about that and police brutality at the same time.

People fixate on the concept and construct of issues and the correct way to classify them. It's a matter of distinguishing trends in society.

There's also the issue that you're just calling these people leftists without any suitable attributes of them other than that they're commenting on videos. It's like going into a trash can and talking about the quality of each produced and discarded item you find in there or something. Every comment section of most social media article is low hanging fruit. The comments that get the most attention are simply just the most controversial because they are very common rhetoric pieces and very problematic at the same time. It's like candy in the checkout isle.
And it does seem to be a systemic issue that police have a very high suicide rate but other leftists seem incapable of caring about that and police brutality at the same time.
We've been over this in the past. This isn't just something you vaguely sense. We need data and such and everything you've provided in the past isn't really consistent with what you're saying.

It's not just comments, it's actual streamers who give me this vibe, even the ones I respect.

But again, I am not super worried about these things any more, they just bother me on principal.

There is a CRAP TON of room for institutional correction as social media highlights stuff. That's generally a left field game given that conservatives mainly look to less centralized means of reform, like a local church instead of a government, or a closed but socially interactive group instead of wide-spread media. The main times that right-wingers do go centralized is specifically to be anti-left.

Naturally when you get to wide-spread issues, you're going to get a dominance of left-wing takes by account of just how much more suitable political science is for assessing these things casually and broadly.

But I think this conversation is helping me. I am just bothered by some behavior on the left and I fixate on that because they are supposed to be the force for good and I really believe these things hurt their cause and just add to the toxicity of the world.
