Canada bans lunar lawlessness

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Violators will be turned over to Captain Janeway for experimentation.

It's only an issue if we let it be one. Just saying.

So in other words, a good reason to discuss this topic before it becomes an acute problem. I agree.

Unless Canada is involved in a joint space program, I don't see that this really matters. Like Antarctic research stations, the nation running a space habitat would likely consider it part of their territory and jurisdiction.

Well you could have bothered reading the first line of the linked article:
Canada partnered with the U.S. to create the Lunar Gateway space station.

Let me restate that:

Unless Canada is involved in a joint space program that actually produces something, I don't see that this really matters.

I remember what it was like with the ISS... many years late, massively overbudget, and doing far less than it was supposed to.

It will be. I doubt the first colonists of the Moon will be doing anything unsavory. Burlt once we get to the point of having more than highly trained, disciplined, top of their class people, eventually there will be stealing, assault etc.
I got nothing to say here.

The first woman to be raped on the moon has probably already been born.
