And to clarify again, I don't think people who disagree with me on these things are morally inferior to me but I am just concerned about slippery slopes, like the one I almost fell down.

I am not going to bother explaining it to you. I am not going to write 1000 posts on a round and round discussion on this on something you just can't comprehend and probably never understand. You havd already showed this already.
I don't have the patience, the alcohol or the crayons to explain this to you.
It's the leftists that have to get better. It is you. Work on yourself before you accuse anyone of anything.
I will make it simple for you. Vegeta hasn't done a thing or shown a thing that would make him a valid comparison to leftist views. You are reaching so far you are touching the moon.
I got nothing to say here.

Goku's passion alone has hardly to do with how he prevails. There's a tremendous aspect of fighting and confrontation that are involved in his conflicts, and it's not a matter of his pacifist ideals like compassion that leads him to prevail.Dragon Ball Fan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 1:10 amactually, I may just idolize Goku because of his compassion, I have had some dark thoughts and impulses for a lot of my early life and he helped me be better.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 6:21 pmWell if you feel that Goku represents you in your moral prerogative, then what are you thinking all the villains of Dragon Ball are supposed to represent? So this thread's still going....
That moralistic upbringing I sense comes with the wisdom to do just that and the struggle placed there is how to work on that. It's not easy and I'm not saying to do a 180, but to not keep your heart so hard.
And you're not a kid anymore, you don't have time to waste on this matter.
The message is a reaction to its overuse.
It's been months since I was in this thread, but I recall you're an adult who hasn't done much in life and struggles with that fact. Whatever you can criticize others for, they are doing things in their life, they are trying. Look up Roosevelt's "Man and in the Ring" speech.
It is commendable that you don't want to hurt people, but you can't sit in a bastion of isolation and inaction thinking you're better for it. Nothing good will come of that and you will pay for it.
I can understand that sentiment given the abuse I've lived through, but you do that and you screw yourself and others more than you're helping anyone.
We are human beings, we're all monsters.Dragon Ball Fan wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 5:13 am So weather they are monsters or people pushed to extremism by circumstance, I can't really empathize with people who do bad things on an emotional level because of my moralistic upbringing and in fact, it literally hurts to try and put myself in their shoes.

You can still work on your issues and that starts with a willingness to try.My parents weren't around in my formative years that much because of work so, I got the vast majority of my morality from the TV shows, I watched as a kid.
You may think that is childish but the values those shows promoted are so intrinsically linked which who I am, I can't really discard them, ever.

You need to focus on your own life if only to improve your situation. You are focusing on this for a reason and it's because you know you need to do something but don't want to do what you need to in your own life so this is your outlet. I am trying to improve my situation but I'm dependent on others to do most of the work for me because of my disabilities. And another thing that concerns me is that either explicitly or implicitly, a lot of leftists I see don't care about principals, they just care about defeating the right. Captain Sisko may have decided having a guilty conscience was better then having billions die in a devastating war but the point was, he DID have a guilty conscience.

look I'm going, to be frank as someone who is also disabled, you have to do things for yourself, you cant rely on people to do everything for you with your disability you have to be independent.
