I wouldn't. It will be almost guaranteed to make him a martyr. His supporters are already very distrustful of the government especially with the ones that have at one point another attacked Trump.

It could cause large riots with his supporters and they would get violent quick.

He is a large man for a person in his late 70's, eats like a pre-teen, and I am sure his temper doesn't help either.
I mean if they did it, it be an accident.
Perhaps. It would also involve a spine to assassinating the former president and a great plan to make it look like one. Which I think they can just wait until his heart blows up.

There have been two genuine assassination attempts against Donald Trump.
Seven against Barack Obama.
Two against George Bush.
Six against Bill Clinton.
One against George Bush Senior.
One against Ronald Reagan.

There is actually a bit of an interesting trend here. If you are a Democrat in the last 40 years then you are much more likely to get assassinated than if you are a Republican if you go by the numbers. If you go further back then it starts to even out a bit.

I find it funny Iran seemed to think killing John Bolton and Mark Meadows was a better use of their money as a revenge murder.

Probably because they don't see killing them as likely to start a war.

It is interesting. Out of so many, why those two anyway? Soft targets?
I got nothing to say here.

You'd think parents would start discouraging their kids from wanting to become president.

"Royal" families have a history of sacrificing their children for the sake of family-fame.

Depends on how realistic the parent wishes to be. The before and after photos of presidents are a fascinating read, where you see Obama go from a fresh-faced young man to looking as if he has aged twenty years in eight. It is a grossly stressful job. Its also one that no poor man could possibly hope to achieve due to the level of campaign funding required. And dangerous, yes. Let us not forget that. One could argue that a moral parent would discourage their kid from such a job. I couldn't do it. If my parents encouraged me to become prime minister I would have ended up being very disappointed.

Speaking of before and after photos BTW, Trump appears to have avoided the characteristic presidential stress ageing. He looks the same today as he did back in 2016.

So either he so old his body won't age anymore without dying or he didn't do his job. Which either you find more believable.

I think it's mostly just a matter of taking on the second term. A big part of a president's first term is just carrying through with the prior president's already running programs or effectively implementing one's own executive initiatives in spite of that and any potential indifference from the legislative branch. The next term is all about running the country but with your own agendas indicating your own integrity instead of the president before you's. Not to mention the legislative branch inevitably starts weighing to the opposite end of the partisan scale to the president through the course of elections and semi elections.
