I've noticed that across Predator movies you have distinct approaches for the design of the Predator. Sometimes better or worse but distinctive and consistent nonetheless. Which I think is interesting.
What do we know from each movie that can fit into a cohesive mold of what we know about the species that be the Predators?

From the difference in the AvP design to the rest of the series we know they own shirts but outside arctic conditions refuse to wear them.
Even in arctic conditions gotta show off them thighs though.

MY head canon is that each predator different design is like how to an aliens all of earth soldiers would be similar but not the same.

That's mine as well. The facemask is just different clan/segment/country/tribe or whatever signature look.Thebestoftherest wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 1:47 pm MY head canon is that each predator different design is like how to an aliens all of earth soldiers would be similar but not the same.
Also each is different because each Predator customizes their gear.
I got nothing to say here.

I've always kind of liked the Rich Idiots On Vacation interpretation. Like the kind of people who fly to Africa to shoot a lion, and then go home to be a senior accountant or whatever. The varying gear is just whatever each individual thought looked cool at Space Capella's.

Too each there own.

That'd be my take. Certainly better for the predators if that's the case if we compare and contrast with Voyager's Hirogen where they're so into the hunt that they basically effed up they're whole society to the point of total collapse and only that one guy from the Killing Game could understand that.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 5:42 pm I've always kind of liked the Rich Idiots On Vacation interpretation.
