In other words, ''Accept a fully equipped biological male who sexually harasses you into your changing room, and if you complain, piss off out of your own changing room, bigot.''
Well, just by the Daily Mail article alone, it seems more like, "Accept a transgirl in your changing room, or complain and everyone has to change separately."
Given that the WCAX article (the news source that the Mail, Fox and others are basically reblogging) that apparently only interviewed the one girl, with other information coming from Vermont state policy and an email sent out by the school's principal, it seems like one parent decided to make a lot of noise about this and WCAX just rushed it out the door.

I like how the title is a straight up lie. They literally aren't banned, they're choosing to not use the locker room.
You clearly did not read the article I just linked.
''Members of a Vermont girls high school volleyball team have been banned from using their own locker room and now have to change in a single bathroom stall after they complained about a transgender teammate.''
It doesn't get clearer than that.
You're the one that didn't read the article because that claim exists only as a bullet point. In the actual body of the article the school just sent out an email saying that if they didn't feel comfortable changing in the locker room there were single occupancy stalls. At no point does it describe the school taking action that would constitute a ban.
And that after you decided to take a complete rag like the Daily Mail at face value.
Can we really call this a "choice" though? "I choose to dress somewhere else because there is a guy in here sexually harassing us?"
Sounds like victim blaming to me. "You chose to go out wearing that low cut dress..."
I find that to be the bigger injustice.
The fact that you're calling the girl in question a guy kind of shows your prejudice on the issue .
And again the Daily Mail is at best a sensationalist tabloid and at worst active fascist propaganda. And I don't mean to use the latter flippantly, the Mail actively cheered Hitler's rise to power as well as serving as a major supporter of the British Union of Fascists.

Something like a third of the forum is trans (at minimum, that's just people I've seen mention it); I'm genuinely curious who you expect to convince with this stuff.
I don't think it's a third but there is quite a number here. Maybe if you count the truly active ones, maybe it gets up to a third.

Yeah it's seven or eight out of the twenty something that post regularly. Not big numbers by any stretch.

I'd make a poll, but I'd feel bad if I didn't include "I don't want to say" as an option, which would probably skew results.

Seven or eight out of twenty something would be a very unusually high number. Anyway, how do you even know? I've not got the faintest idea whether most posters are male or female, trans or not, or anything else really, I know sweet FA about them personally because it's rarely ever relevant.

Bunch of people mentioned it last few times we had trans threads, like a year ago and again in March. About the only time it's relevant.

The claim I made was about people who were open about it, so if that's what you're testing including "don't want to say" seems fair to me. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
I was counting a few people who stay away from the news tab though, maybe put it in general if you do make one.
