It's actually closer to 0.04c, or about half a lightyear every dozen years. Or as Data would say if he was on Voyager, "I'm immortal; I don't mind a fifty year voyage home."
That is a long time to only have your own mind to occupy yourself.
Reminds me of a bit in an Iain Banks novel, where a drone is exasperated with a long time having to spend actually doing something whilst at the same time not at all bothered about something taking a long time, if they can just switch off for it.

I'm more worried that PeanutHamper is now the second-most messed up character in Lower Decks after Mariner, and at least Mariner is moving in the right direction.

I'm guessing the effects of isolation are different when you could get rescued at any time you choose but are doing things the hard way out of sheer spite.

Yep me too. Full of it.

Felt a bit like Family Guy comedy IMO.

Looks like Peanut Hamper and AMICUS are being set up as villains somewhere down the line. I'm actually curious to see how that works out, if only so Tendi can show Ms Hamper what she does to evil AIs who threaten and betray her friends and shipmates.

It did occur to me that the whole evil Super Computer prison would be used later or its just a simple call back and we won't hear about it again.

I don't think they'd have bothered writing and animating an entire episode, devoted almost entirely to Peanut Hamper just to do nothing with her. It may not pay off this season but I do think it'll pay off at some point. Not like anybody was clamoring for a Peanut Hamper return after all, so they must actually have a plan for her.

Nah. I think they would do that. Remember this is a comedy cartoon. They could have made that episode just to mess with the viewers.

Except that wouldn't be comedy now would it, that'd be wasting our time and theirs. If they had no plans to do anything with Peanut Hamper, they'd have just kept her floating in space without mentioning her again. Y'know like how they never mentioned Fletcher or his monster again, cause they don't want to do anything with him?

Nah. Side quest.

Not saying that I think this is finale on Peanut Hamper. Just offering alternatives.

Whenever I see someone complain that an individual episode being a standalone is "wasting their time" instead of just being the norm I feel a million years old.
