I’ve more often heard the reverse, that you don’t invade Russia, particularly during the winter.

Well, Russia declared that Ukraine is a part of Russia. Winter ends at the end of March. Russia invaded in February. So Russia invaded Russia in winter. I rest my case

You don't invade a country with a massive nuclear arsenal ruled by a psychotic megalomaniac despot full stop, as much as said psycho should be dangling off the end of a rope. The unpleasant reality of the world.

Hear there was someone who put a bounty on Putin head, I am not saying someone should shot him dead, but I am not not saying that.

Honestly it would surprise me more if Putin didn't have a price on his head.
I got nothing to say here.

A Ukrainian general has claimed that Putin used up to three body doubles (all using plastic surgery to look like him) and the real Putin "might not exist" (which I presume means he thinks the real Putin is sick or dead).

Granted, this might just be the Ukrainians countering Russian misinformation with their own.

Maybe the real Putin was the atrocities we committed along the way.

Yeah sounds outlandish to be honest. I could buy into body doubles thing. But I can't buy into the real Putin not existing.

Funny. There were similar stories about Hitler towards the end of the war and after. Yet another parallel between both figures. I bet that, if Putler ever dies and his corpse is spirited away, he'll rear his ugly head again in about 30-40 years with stories about secret weapons from a secret base in... let's say Venus, because it's a redish planet and hard enough to reach by current means, with the soviets having done a strange visit (via probes) before.

A Russian missile has killed two people in Poland.

It does seem to be near the Ukrainian border, which indicates an accident, but still not great news.
