The British are sending Challenger 2 tanks. The Americans are sending Abrams. The Germans are sending Leopards. And in other news, Lockheed is ramping up production of F-16s because the rumour is that we'll be sending jets next.

Putin needs to understand that he cannot win this. He has poked a sleeping NATO into action.

The economy is in ruins. Even if his army finally wins in the field he doesn't have enough soldiers to occupy the whole country.

But if he stops he'll show too much weakness and loses the fear that keeps him safe in power, so he pours blood and lives uselessly into the dirt without end.
