Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny | Official Trailer

Post by ProfessorDetective »

Honestly, it looks decent enough. Admittedly, I was fine with Crystal Skull, so maybe I'm insane. Still, I will probably see it in theaters. One last ride with Ol' Indy... Plus, that video game the Wolfenstein guys are doing...

So how many "don't touch that dial" jokes do you think they'll get in?

1969, right after the Apollo Landing. The villain was one of the Nazi scientists NASA tapped for that mission.

You know that that was fake right? I mean, that’s what I heard.

I will tolerate jokes about Apollo being fake only if it's suggested that they went somewhere awesome instead, like the Hollow Earth or another plane.

''I don't believe in magic.''

Jesus, Indy. I don't either. But then, I haven't personally met a 500-year-old Knight of the Round Table who was granted immortality by drinking from the cup of Christ. I also didn't then watch a Nazi drink from a nearby cup and age into dust.

There is scepticism, then there is whatever the hell this is.

Edit: It pains my heart to see John Rhys Davies looking so haggard. He is only two years younger than Harrison Ford and yet the latter looks amazing for his age.

It's Strawman Rationalism. A common feature of writing by idiots.

Just because divine magic is real doesn't mean arcane magic is real. /jk

That’s great, but it wasn’t you who met the 500 year old man now, was it. People need to come to terms on their own time and you shouldn’t judge.

Also yeah they’re both really old by this point. It amounts to putting Ford on a pedestal.
