I was going over my articles over on Deviant Art and came across an idea I had for a She-Ra Adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
https://www.deviantart.com/winterthe-ma ... -864961429
Long and short of it is exactly what it sounds like. It's an adaptation of ACC with the She-Ra characters from the reboot as the iconic characters, Catra as Scrooge, Scorpia and Perfuma and their family as the Cratchits, Hordak as Marley and so on.
This mainly came about because I was still on my She-Ra high and because A Muppet Christmas Carol is my all time favorite Christmas film and it got me thinking. Disney has no less then two adaptations of ACC staring characters as the characters from Dickens classic and ND Stevenson once jokenly said he would love to do a She-Ra/He-Man Holiday Crossover.
So being bored and having nothing better to do I've decided to inflict this idea of mine onto all of you and see what you think of it. Happy Holidays!

If I recall they did a She-Ra/He-Man holiday crossover during the original cartoons. And Skeletor was the protagonist who learned the True Meaning of Christmas.
Funnily enough I just rewatched the Muppet one, still have "It feels like Christmas" stuck in my head.

How about Glimmer as Fezziwig? He's supposed to be a direct contrast to Scrooge, the kind of person he could have been and part of Catra's ark in the last season is Glimmer showing her the life she could of had if she had went to the rebellion with Adora.

Hm, not bad but I think Kyle would be a better choice for Fezziwig. Like let's throw the kid a bone and show him being successful and happy with his boyfriend and girlfriend for once. Also, now that you mentioned it let's have the Ghost of Christmas Present be played by Bow AND Glimmer just for how much the two can annoy our catgirl.phantom000 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 1:48 amOh I love it!Winter wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 6:44 am I was going over my articles over on Deviant Art and came across an idea I had for a She-Ra Adaptation of A Christmas Carol.

I guess that could work, like how The Muppets had Marley played by Statler & Waldorf.Winter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 3:04 amHm, not bad but I think Kyle would be a better choice for Fezziwig. But Fizziwig is supposed to be the counterpoint to Scrooge, showing that being successful does not mean giving up all of one's charity. So ideally, they should be someone who is on the same level as Catra but has a very different attitude.

The counterpoint thing very specifically doesn't work with Glimmer. The whole theme of Glimmer and Catra's arcs in season 4 was that their different paths led to exactly the same place.phantom000 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 3:49 amI guess that could work, like how The Muppets had Marley played by Statler & Waldorf.Winter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 21, 2022 3:04 amHm, not bad but I think Kyle would be a better choice for Fezziwig. Yes they did. I recorded it and used to watch it on Christmas eve with my younger brother along with the other Christmas specials out there.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 9:20 am If I recall they did a She-Ra/He-Man holiday crossover during the original cartoons. I got nothing to say here.
