Single Fix Idea for First Jurassic World Movie

I have thought alot about Jurassic Park and Jurassic World and how to fix the movies aside from the original. My conclusion is that the first movie was lightning in the bottle and every movie after it was always destined to be not as good as the original.

Every time I wind up watching The Lost World for whatever reason I always come away feeling very strongly that they actually have an excellent movie there, not quite as good but really just a bit beneath the original - and then for whatever reason they tag a 1950s B movie onto the end of it. I really do think that up until the point when they leave the island it's an excellent film that would never be considered an Empire to the original's New Hope, but perhaps a Return of the Jedi. It's even got a feature length runtime to that point - and then the film just goes bonkers with the totally needless, pointless San Diego piece.

I think they really should have stayed with the being on the island and that is it. Have a final scene showing a T Rex heading to some unnamed city in the end. The third movie could have been escaped dinosaurs in a modern world.

Well, the book was better than the movie and the parts that were good about the movie, were lifted from the book. What wasn't in the book, were the meh parts of the movie. They added a secondary disaster-plot in a different environment, to an already existing and self-contained disaster-plot. They tried to make it King Kong, except with dinosaurs.

Well they reference Godzilla pretty remarkably. Godzilla and King Kong have similar allegories that Jurassic Park fits nicely between.

The best and simplest fix would have been to not make the movie at all.
