Really? Because FEDRA rules at least dozens of city states that they trade with supplies on from Atlanta to Boston to Kansas City.

That's larger than Europe.
I think what we’re talking about depends on what precisely a society is. I have to admit that I was a bit lofty in my understanding of what society entails. But if there really is no necessary difference between a society and, say,a horde or faction then You are more or less just as right or wrong as I am.

Now that's quite passive-agressive of you, especially since CPhibbs is right and you are not. The question is, why don't you consider this a society?

Oh, sorry, I assumed you meant, "A functioning government and economy" by society.

I guess that suffices.

THIS, a thousand times!
It's ridiculous to think that just one doctor somehow can know why the cure works, and in a span of what, 1-2 hours, come up with a procedure to extract the "cure", one that involves killing the patient? Just him a couple of nurses? Before he even saw Ellie with his own eyes, he only knew about her condition from whatever observations he got from Marlene and the other Fireflies, neither of which are doctors or scientists. So his entire plan is based on bad science, which funny enough would explain his recordings where he implies that there were other immune patients that he failed to extract a cure from. He failed because he had no idea what he was doing.

I guess Dr. Jerry never heard of "second opinion", or if he did, he doesn't think it's important.
