I do genuinely wonder what the actual value of Lucasfilm is now compared to when Lucas sold it. Star Wars is a recurring failure. Indiana Jones was a bomb. Willow was cancelled.

Ironically, its value probably spiked around about The Force Awakens.

No worries, there's certainly a musical episode in planning. That will save everything. Dancing Darths of Dathomir.

Given that the Darths of Dathomir are Maul, Savage, and Ventress I'd unironically enjoy that more than I do this show.

Honestly I'm enjoying just picturing it more than I have three episodes of this show.

I should become a Hollywood-writer. I'm clearly closer to the public's heart-beat than the real ones, even when I am just shooting the shit with off-hand remarks.

I'll never understand that take. He was just a random inate force sensitive to me which is something that's always been part of the setting. It wasn't anyone can have the force, it was hey this kid has the force, isn't that neat. I don't see any difference with him compared to the younglings or random jedi in the prequels.

In all seriousness, most fans are closer to the public heartbeat than anyone at Lucasfilm.

No one wanted a hobo Luke Skywalker. No one wanted Palpatine back. No one wanted to know the origin of Han Solo's surname. No one wanted the Force watered down. Not saying fans are perfect, but a fan would know this.

If everyone is Force sensitive now, why did Palpatine need Rey's body? Wasn't the whole point of that plan because he needed a Force user to transfer to? If the sticking point here is ''blood relative'' then couldn't he just midichlorian himself up another Anakin? Why the big fuss about tracking her down?

I'm very confused why he couldn't just pull a stranger from the street.

You're putting a lot more thought into it than anyone involved in writing that movie did.

Yes, shame on you, Clearspira! You're actually invested in the Franchise! It's almost as if you're a fan! Disgusting! 😋

Force sensitive doesn’t equate to a skywalker or palpatine bloodline.

People had the same type of complaint for jack crusher and the borg. Am I the only sci fi fan paying attention?
