In another thread someone told me the post ROTJ situation in the Disney timeline should be compared to the aftermath of WWI rather then WWII. And I guess in that context Thrawn works as someone like Ludendorff.
BTW was this other Galaxy ever in the Legend Lore or is it an entirely new Disney Creation?

Re: Ahsoka series
This is second hand info based on comments I've read elsewhere as the number of old Legend books I read I don't even need all the fingers on one hand to count but apparently there used to be a galactic barrier blocking suck travel so yeah it's entirely new Disney canon.MithrandirOlorin wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 12:02 amBTW was this other Galaxy ever in the Legend Lore or is it an entirely new Disney Creation?

There was one galaxy a few races came from. Notably the Yuuzhan-Vong invaders. Travel required generation ships though.
There were also a few satellite galaxies barely outside the disk but travel to and from those was pretty casual.

Re: Ahsoka series
Maybe this Galaxy will will also help set up the Yuushan-Wong.
Anyone else in the latest episode get the vibe that Baylan might have Kriea's motivation?

Re: Ahsoka series
Another episode I thought was fun and clever. Really makes me wonder wtf they were thinking on those first three.
Kind of disappointed that Ezra's force-only fighting style didn't go full Jedi Sage and throw rocks at people.
I'm honestly confused what even happened in the Senate scene. The whole thing was invalid because it interfered with another committee's remit, but somehow it's just centrist guy's fault specifically even though Mon Mothma, who is also chief executive, was chairing? This government makes no sense.

They have to make the government make no sense to set up the Sequel trilogy.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 8:39 am Another episode I thought was fun and clever. Really makes me wonder wtf they were thinking on those first three.

It reminded me of the Diet scene in Gate.

Re: Ahsoka series
Thrawn extrapolating from his experience with Anakin to predict his apprentice's moves would have been so much more impressive if it had amounted to anything other than "she'll launch an immediate head-on attack".
Ok it's an accurate assessment of Anakin as a tactician, but still.

Man that really could have done with at least resolving something. Also dang Filoni your cribbing from Lotr is getting a tad excessive don't you think?
