I am out of the loop for this. What sort of discrimination was happening in the first place? Don't get me wrong, I am all for it, I am just not versed on this.
The only person I know with any sort of disability in my family or friends is sctuslly my mother. But she is just physically weak through bad health, a kidney transplant and honestly being lazy to do any sort of physical therapy. But she has had many programs of getting her physically strong enough to walk unassisted for the past few years but has rejected it.

I got nothing to say here.

Well one big issue is disabled people being given DNR assignments as a default, without their permission. The ablist assumption is they must not have enough quality of life to want to keep living. Doctors are also incredibly dismissive of people with chronic pain problems.
