As much as I love James Gunn, they should have realized after the Suicide Squad that he's NOT the super genius who will make this all work out.

I wouldn't mind giving him a shot, atleast I feel like he will at least try to get teh spirits of the comics.

Suicide Squad was pretty shit for various reasons and I am not entirely convinced, that Gunn was one of those. Either way: The Sucide Squad was pretty darn good.

I've had little issue with Gunn and his work. I'm willing to give him a chance.

As long as we don't get Depressed Brooding Superman, Trigger Happy Doomer Batman, and Barely There Wonder Woman again, I'll consider it an improvement.

I just want a hopeful Superman, and not have the story feel like they were made by people who are too clever by half.
