I was going to sit this one out but not after that.

It was the teachers who requested this guidance because some classes in British schools are now 1/3 trans. Not a joke, look it up. And not just that either, there was a story not long back about a kid who came in and demanded to be referred to as a dinosaur and the teacher was disciplined for not doing so. Not a joke, look it up. A responsible government has to protect its educators when they directly ask to be protected. I don't know what is happening in American schools, but here, it is an issue that teachers need help with.

I don't doubt that some of these kids are trans. But its also true that according to official government figures only 0.5% of the population is trans. In the US? 1.3%. So lets in fairness put it up to the US amount just to be absolutely fair here to account for any problems that may exist in the UK numbering system.
That still means that there are some schools in the UK that are running at 31.7% above the national average? Come on now. We wouldn't accept such a discrepancy with literally anything else so what makes this so special? Unless you can give me an answer to account for these discrepancies there is clearly something going on regarding outside influences upon our children that needs to be investigated.

Fyi, there is provision in the guidance to NOT tell parents IF they think there is risk of abuse. Its right there in the article. So no, even if you disagree with everything else I said, cruelty is not the point.

I don't know where you got that 1/3 of a class thing but I'd never listen to anything they say ever again if I were you, they're very blatantly lying to your face.

Also the kids telling the teachers and not the parents is by itself evidence that telling those parents isn't safe.
