Anybody saddened by how generic Lothal is in Rebels?
i wish the culture of the planet and the different regions and continents would be more fleshed out.

Weirdly, I felt it was one of the more interesting planets.
It has multiple regions and environments, the Imperial oppression is well-developed and changes, plus we had the shanty towns as well as economic oppression.

I never watched Rebels. Is it like a continuation of the Clone Wars?

If you spend so much time there, you might develop something more than a monoculture...CharlesPhipps wrote:Weirdly, I felt it was one of the more interesting planets.

Well, that's the thing, Lothal is kind of a weird duck because they only set many adventures on the planet because they had the budget for one planet and no one knew if it was going to take off as a series or not.
Then the series did and they were like, "Finally! We can leave this stupid planet!"
Which they did.

No, the premise is now "we must liberate Lothal!"Agent Vinod wrote:Did not watch the enire last season, but i think they went back already.CharlesPhipps wrote:Well, that's the thing, Lothal is kind of a weird duck because they only set many adventures on the planet because they had the budget for one planet and no one knew if it was going to take off as a series or not.

Which the rest of the Alliance doesn't care about.
