Actually my favorite Doctor Who episode is the Christmas Special The Next Doctor. Love that episode and for me it's everything great about DW in one episode.

Yeah, that's a good one. Honestly, David Morrissey wouldn't have been the worst choice for a true incarnation. Kind of wish Big Finish had given him a story or two.

Funnily I dislike the episode in every aspect BUT the fake Doctor, felt he was the saving grace of an episode and very much felt like a classic doctor in new who, which made him even better.
Science Fiction is a genre where anything can happen. Just make sure what happens is enjoyable for yourself and your audience.
