If my family member was hit by a car I'd kinda like to know rather than just having them dumped in a grave shallow enough for the feral dogs to get at them. WTF is wrong with Mississippi?

This article has some odd links. It mentions Wade as having been hit by a police vehicle. But links to a story in Colorado.
But the person hit and killed by the police. The family just happened to not be notified?

From other articles looks like a few of those people had open missing persons cases when they were found and they still never contacted their families.
