That's what I was assuming.

Though it would be an interesting what if Anakin rejects Palpatine. Probably before Mace Windu gets zapped out the window without hands. Though helping Mace Windu with Palpatine by that point would be redundant. Even if you believe in that Palpatine was faking it to get Anakin to turn to the Dark Side, I doubt he would be a match for Anakin and Windu at the same time. Much less so if you are in the theory that Windu defeated Palpatine before Anakin got there.

So maybe in this scenerio, Palpatine zapps Windu aside and tries to tempt Anakin to take his side by killing Windu as a traitor. Anakin struggles from within, maybe some memory of what Obi Wan has said boom, Anakin turns on Palpatine.
I got nothing to say here.

Pre-Vader and Post-Mortis Anakin ist about the strongest anyone has ever been in the Force. Palpatine would've been a leaf in the Wind against that Anakin. It's a shame that the movies do not really portrait his abilities at all, beyond some swashbuckling acrobatics.

I think Windu legitimately had Palpatine at his mercy, and Anakin certainly could have turned the tide if he had chosen wisely.

I didn't say he was at his strongest at that point. Anakin was strong to be sure. Top Three maybe in the Order. It was his potential, like when Sidious mentioned that to Yoda during their battle.

I think though if he stayed on the side of the Light, he would have definitely turned the tide of battle against Palpatine/Sidious. Like I said whether or not he was faking it or not against Windu.

No Vader. No Sidious. No Order 66. No storming of the Jedi Temple. The Seperatists would eventually surrender with no Grevious or Dooku. Or Sidious.
I got nothing to say here.
