Isarel colonizes and absorbs Palestine. Apparently with minimal resistance, at least from outside.

Correct. Deportation of about 2 million people, annexation of the Gaza strip. The final nail in the coffin for the "Two State Solution" and the end for any form of Palestine. And a thousand more years of strife and murder in the Levant.

That's one possibility. The other ''end'' to this would be the brave and heroic leadership of Hamas giving back the hostages and asking the United States to step in to begin true cease fire talks and mutual restitution. Look it up, the people who are actually in charge of Hamas currently live in peace and luxury in Qatar completely removed from any suffering that this war is bringing. They could come out at any point and negotiate and yet silence from the lot of them. Sounds like they really give a shit about the people of Palestine, huh?

And if Israel does not come to the table despite Hamas being willing to do so, the US is holding all of the cards as their greatest overseas benefactor. Biden just needs to threaten to withdraw those ships he has next to Israel and boom, done. I have a feeling that America's involvement in this war is going to come to the fore one way or another by November as it will become an election issue.

Israel shot some of the fucking hostages when they were waving white flags. It was never about the hostages.

I don't understand this reaction.
I voted for the man who went above congress's head to give Israel more white phosphorous to bomb children, journalists, and hospitals with. What's not to get?

Ugh, don't remind me. I'm honestly worried that the Republicans might win the election because enough left-leaning Democrat voters turn away from the polls in disgust. Thank Genocide Joe for fucking that up if it happens.

Hamas could surrender today, and Israel would shoot them, then go back to killing children and journalists until there is nobody left alive in Palestine. Netenyahu is not interested in justice, or even revenge. He wants Palestine GONE. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/ne ... r-AA1nbV7i

Which is precisely how Hamas feel about Israel. That's why it's impossible to see any good outcome to this.

The thing is, this was always what Hamas wanted. For every fighter they lose now there will be a dozen young men ready to kill and die to avenge their families in a few years, driven out of their territory or not.

This isn't some complex plot it's insurgency/counterinsurgency 101 stuff, it's literally in the field manual. Netenyahu is just an idiot.

No, Netenyahu is a man who knows exactly what he wants. He wants all of them dead. Hamas is just a convenient excuse for doing that, and the way things are going nothing is going to stop him.
