Hamas didn't decide to commit genocide. Israel was going to do that with or without them, because Genocide has been their agenda since before Hamas existed. You don't create an apartheid state because you have a respect for the existence of other countries and cultures.

Hamas aren't capable of committing genocide against Israel. If they were you can bet they would. What Israel's doing would be a picnic in comparison. This is in no way letting Israel off the hook - it's lack of discrimination and apparent desire to flatten the whole of Gaza is in no way excusable, but don't have any illusions about Hamas. Attacking Gaza after what they did was entirely justifiable. The way they've gone about it is not.

Fuzzy, you're drifting into Nonsense-Dream-Elseworld-Land just to keep up your flawed perception and narrative. Hamas is a genocidal organizatiom with the expressed goal to whipe Israel off the map. Hamas is partially responsible for the sabotage of the peace process after the Frist Intifada ended with a peace accord between Arafat and Rabin (the later being murdered by extremists in his own ranks for daring to seek a peaceful solution). Whenever Hamas had the means to murder Israelis, they did. You're deluding yourself if you think this wouldn't happen on a larger scale of they could, because whenever they can, they choose violence. Mass violence. Genocidal violence. They're an offshot of the Muslim Brotherhood and an expressed splinter group created AS A RESPONSE TO PLO SEEKING A PEACEFUL SOLUTION.

This is one of those things that could probably be settled by a bit more nuance rather than determining black and white resolution over a complex issue.

Fuzzy do you absolve Hamas of dragging those women through the street? Are you saying that Netanyahu's actions means that people should expect or embrace violent and civilly inhumane terrorist acts?
