Babylon 5: TKO

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Babylon 5: TKO

Nailed it!

Unlike this episode.

Well he's already done Infection and Grey 17 is Missing, so if he was going to do a "worst episode of the series" for B5 for Christmas, it was pretty much left to be TKO.

Arguably some of the telepath stuff at the start of season 5 is also up there in badness, but that was a multi-episode arc so its hard to judge.

I had assumed the Christmas special was going to be "Star Trek Into Darkness".

Maybe next year.

Though it is not like there is a shortage of bad episodes of "X-Files" that couldn't be put out there. "First Person Shooter" anyone?

Nah, next year Chuck is going to pull the rug out from under us and the Christmas special will be Empire Strikes Back.

The other "usually agreed to be a bad episode" is "Grail" (which is truly, truly, outrageous - I'm still waiting to see if anyone gets that one). However, I sort of agree that "TKO" is a rather uninteresting episode, largely because it doesn't really touch on anything important arc-wise (we get character stuff for Susan, but that's about it).

I like David Warner. I tend to cut whatever he is in a lot of slack.

Yeah, yeah, JEM reference.

In any case, this review is going to be interesting, especially considering how Chuck keeps riffing on TKO in the other B5 reviews.

Yeah, there's no way this one's worse than "Infection," but if he's already done that one, then he's already done that one.

Yes, but why?
