If the Harris campaign started selling "Cackling Kamala" shirts the way the Biden campaign stole the Brandon meme I'd absolutely buy and wear them.
Whether it's true or not, doesn't really matter. It's funny and fitting regardless.

Harris' late nomination might actually be the critical advantage here. It leaves the Republicans with a tactic to fight an old man while facing a young woman and they have to scramble to come up with something that makes at least superficial sense (unlike "Cackling Kamala") and doesn't disenfranchise their entire female voter-cohort.
Read an article yesterday that the Trump Campaign is struggling with a new name for Kamala. Apparently they are trying to avoid anyway that might annoy any voter base that might take offense to any misogynistic or racial undertones of proposed nicknames.

Why? Who's out there offended by racism or misogyny and still voting for Trump?

More about the moderate voters. Not the MAGA voters. They will vote for Trump even if he shot one of them dead on fifth Avenue.

Women, primarilly. Cognitive Dissonance can be quite jarring, but there are limits. There is a difference between him being a misogynistic arsehole who "grabs them by the pussy" and him attacking Kamala for the fact of being a woman. A good amount may have a fetish for being shat on (figuratively and literally), but it sure as hell isn't the case for the majority of the 39% of women who voted for that shitstain in 2016.

Trump had 42% of the votes from women. But from what I can remember a little more than half of white women (I think 56%) voted for Trump.
So yeah, criticize Kamala based on her skin and gender, you will get some pissed off women.

I mean a lot of it does come down to branding more than platform values. These kind of things have distinct weight of the matter moving forward and a lot of people see past transgressions as just that.
