Ridiculous Versus Fights

Homelander would be creamed by Dreadnought aka Danielle "Danny" Tozer from the Dreadnought/Nemesis Series by April Daniels. While Danny lacks heat vision and is vulnerable to magic and electricity she's smart and creative and has learned how to fight those who are almost as powerful as her, as powerful as her or arguably more powerful then her. She managed to fight, if I remember correctly, 3 mechas that were almost as strong or stronger then her and she managed to take all of them out on her own.

The ongoing nemesis/frienemy of every Dreadnought, Red Steel, who had decades of training and was recently given more power to be more powerful then Dreadnought and Danny still came out on top and managed to beat him while needing to hold her breath in the Vacuum of space.

Homelander, is a flying break. Dangerous to be sure but he's someone who relies solely on his overwhelming power, take that away or pit him against someone at close to or at his level and he's screwed. I'm not sure if Danny is as powerful as him or only close to his level but she doesn't have heat vision like Homelander (going by the show version, no idea if the comic version lacks or has HV) but I think Danny could take a direct hit of Homelander's heat vision and survive (though she would likely still get injured).

However, again, Danny has fought those who are as strong or stronger then her and she's smart enough to avoid getting hit by Heat Vision... Assuming it even got that far because Danny is also a dirty fighter and can, has and will do a preemptive strike usually while her enemy is monologuing. To quote the hero herself-

"The first rule of combat is to get in the first shot. The second rule of combat is that cheap shots are the best shots. I really like the second rule. I really like the second rule."

So here's how I see this fight going. Say the two are in the same universe of one of them has someone entered the others universe, Homelander has managed to put on a good look for himself but Homelander being who he is starts killing others to either maintain his good imagine or because he really hates someone. This leads to Danny confronting him where he starts ranting about how much better he is compared to everyone else likely throwing in some transphobia in there as well but before he can even get halfway through his speech Danny Superspeeds right towards him and knees him in the groin at superspeed recreating this gem of a scene.

Homelander tries to fight back but Danny is simply the better fight (and Homelander is now fighting with the loose of his two best friends and I don't mean your pals in the Winnebago) and my guess is Danny kicks Homelander's ass in about 2 minutes at best and since this is a superhero world there is doubtlessly a prison that can hold him.

TBH, having Clearspira is a nice contrast for this board. Among others, but with him he didn't have that tendanancy to insult when he got cornered or frustrated. When it comes to politics, you do need someone who can argue the other side. Otherwise, it becomes an echo chamber. You need to see what the other side is arguing about and their views, debate against them. Then I think you could understand where they are coming from.

But that is just me.

Something that popped up in my feed recently. Versus fights against either Jason Vorhees or Michael Myers.

First one of note was Wolverine versus Jason. Well the video has Wolverine winning in the end but through drama I guess they made it a bit more exciting. Keep in mind it's a fan made opinion piece. In actuality, Wolverine versus Jason fight would be a straight forward short fight. Jason in the world of mutants far far far more powerful than him that Wolverine has faced, would be a low level strong zombie like mutant. Wolverine has Jason beat. Jason just can't do anything to Wolverine. That machete would be shattered on the adamantium skeleton of claws, or cut through. After that, it's just a matter of time before Jason gets dismembered.

Michael Myers versus Spider-Man is another. Mikey here is way of his weight class here. Spider-Man pulls his punches but is still far beyond Mike's strength. Combine that with Spider-Man's agility and ability to sense danger. It's very one sided. I could maybe buy in Spider-Man webbing him up and only to see Michael missing from the webbing and that is only due to horror style scenes of the kind.

I did see a fan video of a hypothetical Michael Myers versus Jason Vorhees fight. It was what you expect, stabbing, slamming, punching, throwing each other around. Though in the fan film they decided to include some rednecks getting in the middle of the fight for some reason.

Lois Lane. Mary Jane isn't much of a scrapper. Decent right hook and knows how to kick, but Lois is a fighter. Will kick you in the crotch, claw your eyes out, bite, throw, she can fight and she fights DIRTY. Mary Jane would get stomped.
