I just watch the new star wars lego mini series, but part of me notice a pattern here and wonder if it a meta commentary to those people still whining about the EU at this point.

If it was meta commentary I thought they handled it really well.

Also I now desperately want a t-shirt with 'Meesa the Phantom Menace! Meesa always been the Phantom Menace!' on it. That they got Ahmed Best back to deliver the line made it even better. Just glorious

They did get his actor? That is awesome. I been watching linkara convergence review recently, so meta commentaries are on my brain. I just found the lines about how there no going back to get my attention.

Yeah he was even in Mandalorian as a jedi math teacher who saves Grogu and murders like, 20 clone troopers. Now THAT'S the power of math!

Actually I'm pretty sure Jedi Bob is meant to be from Legends, so really it's just saying it outright.
