Mugato Gumato
I'm gonna come out and say it. Tendi's storyline makes this entire episode worth it. Cats hate going to the vet, doctors make the worst patients, and when you combine the two, you get comedy gold.

I'm just going to repost my comment from youtube cause man this is bad, and I can't be arsed coming up with something different to say here.
'Easily the worst episode of the entire run so far. It's just plain fucking awful, and feels like the one remnant of an alternative path the show could have taken if it had leaned into the style of the pilot, rather than y'know rapidly changing course into something that's actually pretty good.'
And no I don't think the Tendi storyline does anything to help matters. It's a very rote plot you'll see in pretty much any sitcom or episodic show looking for a comedic suplot for some padding. It's basically the Hoshi trying to find out Reed's favourite food of Lower Decks.

I agree with you about the direction but I didn't find it quite as bad as the first two episodes.stryke wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 9:07 am I'm just going to repost my comment from youtube cause man this is bad, and I can't be arsed coming up with something different to say here.
