So now it's time for "what's coming down the road that has Elon so absolutely and clearly terrified Trump won't win?" My personal guesses:

* He knows Trump will kill any investigation into what he did on Epstein's island.

* He thinks his behavior in the last couple years is going to cost him the government subsidies that make up most of his revenue in every business but Twitter. Cutting Starlink access to a region to sabotage Ukrainian offensives in particular.

* This one is an old suspicion of mine: Tesla is a giant Ponzi scheme in the Enron mold that's about to collapse and he wants protection when that happens.

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm shocked that his brazen attempt to bribe swing state voters isn't getting him in trouble. I guess every single institution in the United States is choosing to hedge their bets rather than defend basic democracy. Truly we are a failed nation.

Which is why honest voters need to not only insure the white house but change the Senate and Congress to get Musk behind bars.

Part of the problem comes from people who refuse to vote in people who will change these guys. Theirs a lot of reasons good men and women don't win but the reason bad people win comes in two reasons. Laziness, and acceptance. Acceptance that these scumbags ARE good for the country, and Elon is PRIME scumbag and people worship him cause they wanna BE him.

I think you're missing on a key issue: disillusionment. There's a lot of potential voters who are sickened by the complicity in war crimes and not voting for either candidate for that reason.

I'm really starting to wonder if Musk has serious blackmail material on someone or what. If the CEO of any other defense contractor casually admitted they'd been talking to Putin for years there'd be Federal agents kicking down her door within minutes.

He is rich and the fact that Trump promised more tax breaks for the rich may play a part in that.

I suspect there is far more to it and one of them is Musk's mental state.

Musk, in my eyes, is very clearly on a mission to make himself Emperor of the World. That's what he is in his mind, the most brilliant man alive, the only one who knows reality, the only one who should have a say in things at all. That man is dellusional and gets worse by the day.
