When there is no hope, you must embrace schadenfreude.

He may not the position but I will am willing to put down money the odds of Trump pardoning him is still high. He doesn't care if that would be political suicide, those standards went away a long time with him.ProfessorDetective wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 6:47 pm Gaetz withdrew from the nomination. So, small victories, sill hope they lock him up.

Oh, and he resigned his House seat for the AG position, so he's seemingly just OUT OF WASHINGTON, now.
Gaetz won't be forgotten but he will be just defended for some stupid reason by the rabid MAGA base.
I got nothing to say here.

Re: Donald Trump Reloaded!
So... the International Criminal Court has just issued an international arrest warrant for Netanyahu. 124 countries (not including the US and Israel which imo says a lot - no offence intended) are signatories of it. If he leaves Israel - like Putin - and travels to these countries, we are legally obligated to arrest him and put him on trial for war crimes.
And Trump and the Republican party are said to be absolutely PISSED about this. They are now talking about sanctioning the ICC come January. Let me repeat this: Trump is going to sanction a court.
I'm surprised that I am surprised.

Also, news just in, Trump's sentencing for hush money will be delayed until 2028.

Of course it will be. At least the primary kid-diddler appointment fell through for the Republican party. Thank Hecate for small mercies.

I wonder how many of those will be dropped entirely when he is in power. Also wonder what his retaliation will be for everyone involved in his criminal cases.clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 4:58 pm Also, news just in, Trump's sentencing for hush money will be delayed until 2028.

I mean, the Department of Justice is not doing any charges now. It's pointless to discuss post-2028 because he'll probably be dead by then.
