For me, it's a show that suffers from, "Who am I supposed to root for?"

Doug did a Disneycember on the Acolyte and said, "The show is trying to send its message very clearly but needed better characters to do so."

I'm like, "...what message?"

Thst peace is a lie and through victory your chains are broken, clearly.
One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars.

Doug skills as a critic has and is extremely dubious. Don't take anything he says too seriously.

Doug? As in, Doug Walker?

He's still going?

Welp. Right there is proof that no one gets Cancelled forever. I wonder what his former employees think of good old Teflon Doug carrying on as normal and still seeing enormous success.

Probably best not to think about it, just use the time that you would have given to his videos and watch one of the people that got hurt by his incompetent instead. Watch Brandon Tenold he like the nostalgia critic but just better in every respect.

Probably because I and so many other people don't have a single bit of knowledge regarding the behind the scenes scandals of social media content makers. I have barely enough time to be terrified of world leaders horrors.

Just a skim through the truly mega document compiled by all the people were hurt by Channel Awesome convinced me so the many youtube videos that have come out since, some deservedly multi-hour long projects, were just beating a horse that was already very dead for me. That thing was utterly, utterly damning.

So to find the horse is still prancing about and still talking shite is rather a downer.
