What did Elon Musk do this time.

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Not surprised that the Musk and Trump love in is already breaking up though. I really do not get the impression that Musk is as indoctrinated in extreme MAGA as a lot of Trump's followers are. For one thing, maybe it has hit Musk that he runs international companies?
That's the thing about Musk, he only cares about what benefits HIM in his eyes and he thought supporting Trump and his rhetoric would benefit his interests and even used Twitter to push a lot of misinformation for it.

I work with quite a few Indians and Chinese and I have to say that they are all incredibly educated people. What happens is, especially with Indians, they can get twice as much working in Britain as they can in India for even the most basic job. The mail room at my work - and this is God's honest truth - has a university educated chemist shifting envelopes because it was cheaper for her to get a visa and work here doing a bottom rung job than it is for her to work there. Fun fact: you can sell a kidney in India and get less than the annual average take home of a British employee.

Basically, I can kind of see where Elon is coming from, because you can get hold of incredibly smart people from Asia and pay them peanuts. He's a cheapskate is essentially what I am saying.

This is where I am actually happy where I admittedly stumbled into the aviation industry. In my industry you just cannot contract work out to foreigners. You require a license to work on the aircraft. So if you are Indian, American, Middle Eastern, African or whatever you will have the job. However part of the license is going through the American school for it which also requires you to be able to not only speak read English but speak it coherently.

Being a mechanic just can't be outsourced or done remotely.

I mean don't get me wrong my local car mechanic Ali is from India. He is excellent and I am sure if he was younger I would try to convince him to go into aviation. We need someone of his skills.

Hmmm... I can't remember where I was going with this...
I got nothing to say here.

Musk very obviously using an alt account to publicly suck his own dick again. Adrian Dittman was the name this time. It's the exact same bit he did with Doge Designer, even by Musk standards it's pretty sad.

Changed his username to Kekius Maximus with a Pepe avatar.

It's not just a string of "edgy" alt-right racist dogwhistles, it's a string of alt-right racist dogwhistles that were already dated in 2017.

Elon Musk is kind of the apotheosis of the fact that despite being a billionaire who bangs supermodels, he will never be cool.

You say that, but ten years ago there were genuinely a considerable number of people comparing him to Tony Stark. You'll probably still find a few somewhere.

It's funny how Elon's massive fanbase took a dive after he fired his incredibly expensive public relations team.

Apparently the cybertruck that blew up in front of the Trump building in Vegas may or may be a suicide bombing. It's apparently hard to tell because like all Teslas sometimes they just randomly do that and automatically lock you inside with the fire and no way out.

I heard it was a decorated Green Beret.

Master Sergeant, Green Beret, stationed in Germany and currently on leave. Shot himself in the car and rigged and set-off a timebomb based on fireworks and fuel in the Cybertruck's flatbed. The entire thing is a string of comedic errors that starts with the guy renting that Cybertruck from the same company the other lunatic drove into people elsewhere, goes over that guy driving to the wrong Las Vegas at first (in New Mexico) and, after needing eight charging-stops to get there, blows himself up in such a way, that nobody else and nothing but the truck gets damaged (who'd have thunk, that exploding low-yield fireworks on the functionally open flatbed of a truck barely creates any shrapnell and directs the blast almost only upwards, where nothing of consequence and noone at all got caught). You'd think a master sergeant of the Green Berets, who apparently also served in Afghanistan could orchestrate something functional at least, like, you know, driving to Las Vegas Nevada, instead of Las Vegas New Mexico, when trying to blow up a Trump-associated building with a Musk-car.
