Freezing food stamps a few days before the monthly disbursement with no notice like he just tried to do would be a great way to do that. They're finely calculated to be just enough to prevent bread riots.
It did get temporarily blocked at the last second this time, but who knows how that will go with the current "a Republican president is basically a king" Supreme Court.

No, the US government is too well organized to fall apart like that, unless a substantial part of the Army breaks off. Not Syria, maybe Northern Ireland.clearspira wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 6:48 amI don't disagree but I do think that the one key difference between Germany and America is the 2nd ammendment. On an aside I have been watching 'Time Ghost' since 2014. They did WW1 and WW2 in real time and are currently covering Korea in real time. They also have the 'Rise of Hitler' series going on right now which just started which covers 1930 through 1933. They'll cover every month in a weekly episode. I bring this up since in the comments of those videos someone stated that it took 53 days for Hitler to fully become a dictator.
March 14 will be 53 days from January 20. 'Beware the ides of March.'

In recognition of the fact that society is degenerating under the pressure of the woke menace, WE THE PEOPLE HEREBY REPEAL THE CONSTITUTION. The former United States are to be reorganized into the CONFEDERATED STATES OF AMERICA, with new boundaries to be determined by leading theologians. Donald Trump is to be King, forever, even after death. The following Executive Officers are also chosen in perpetuity: Minister of Love David Duke, Minister of Peace Clint Lorance, Minister of Plenty Elon Musk, and Minister of Truth Tucker Carlson. In the event of the deaths of any of the aforementioned persons, though they shall still nominally hold these posts, actual decisions shall be made by business representatives, chosen by respected business leaders. People may petition Jesus for a redress of grievances, as He will be the only one listening.

It's OK to make mistakes as long as you don't make the same ones. If you do then you're not learning.

Addendum: His Majesty the Lord Supreme Trump has hereby decided upon reflection that he does not like the name Confederated States of America for it does not truly reflect his vision for the future of the country. From this day forth, we shall be known by a new name: Gilead.TGLS wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 12:57 pm In recognition of the fact that society is degenerating under the pressure of the woke menace, WE THE PEOPLE HEREBY REPEAL THE CONSTITUTION. If he did that it would be specifically to reference the show. No way in hell he understands the Bible reference.clearspira wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 7:06 pmAddendum: His Majesty the Lord Supreme Trump has hereby decided upon reflection that he does not like the name Confederated States of America for it does not truly reflect his vision for the future of the country. They tried to get around the stay order and court case around the freeze by rescinding the OMB memo about it but not the actual EO. And then Interchangeable Press Secretary announced on X that's what they were doing. Before the judge had ruled on it. So it got presented as evidence and was the reason the judge gave for not disn

Well there is alot going on about reducing the size of the Federal employee workforce.
-No more remote working. Got to work in an office. This implies people who work from home don't work as hard as if they were in the office.
-Looks like they are offering 8 months of pay to leave their job.
-Also looks like they are offering a full months of pay and benefits for February if you resign at a certain date.
-Paying the Federal workforce costs about 4% I think of the budget. They employ about 2 million as well.
Also let's remember these people would be working at various departments that directly involve handling money and benefits to the public. Reduction of the Federal workforce would obviously create a huge backlog in everything.
For example, Veteran Affairs was just starting to get more efficient. Before that there were jokes about vets sitting in the waiting rooms for their benefits since they were discharged in WW2. Now it sounds like it could be even worse than that but now for everyone.
You know if you really want to cut down thd budget is to seriously look at the US military. It could be made more cost efficient without reduction of the size of the military. I am not talking about the top secret R&D or development of new weapons or vehicles.
Things like why was my squadron paying $80 for plastic polish that was identical to plastic polish that sold in Home Depot for $3.99 for example? Why are we using Snap On products when there are cheaper but near equal quality? The company called Icon is selling identical Snap On tools at Harbor Freight and why are they identical? Because it's owned by Snap On. Why are we buying Snap On torque wrenches when you can pay a third of the price from CDI Torque Products especially when they are also identical to Snap On and yes owned by them too.

Science Fiction is a genre where anything can happen. Just make sure what happens is enjoyable for yourself and your audience.

I am actually not that too concerned about the manufacturing part of it. It's skilled labor that requires skilled labor pay. It's more about dumping Windex into a white spray bottle and labeling it with military nomenclature and charging $100 per bottle. That's the sort of waste of I am talking about.
I was once told and I am not sure if it is right but these companies that do this, the $50 for a bottle of general cleaner. It's that there is some law where the military has to buy from US companies. So there are these companies where their product is solely just making this product for the military even if it's Windex in a white bottle and due to this law they can charge the US military a stupid amount of money.
Just as long as it's labeled according to military regulations. Which costs a fraction of a cent to do.
Military regulations though is a hard thing to get past. Has to be tested and approved (costs money) and technically cannot show preference over one company or the other. So, white bottles.
I got nothing to say here.
