There is something rather Taliban about all of this now. I say ''now'', there always was, but actually going to the extent of scrubbing women off government websites really isn't that far off from telling women to stay at home or not to go to school. It is very much on the same tree.

''Women cover up'' will be next. Calling it now. I'm not talking to the extent of burkas, but do not be surprised if something like OnlyFans goes down or low cut tops become against the party line.

If Trump sanctioning the ICC over Israel wasn't enough, if Trump planning to level Gaza and forcibly evict its people wasn't enough, if Trump's plan to build hotels on its ashes was't enough I present you with this quite sickening trophy presented from Netanyahu to Trump. Calling it Taliban-esque isn't giving credit for how home-grown Christofacism is. This is an evil that we have to acknowledge as our own, not diminish with foreign comparisons.

I don’t think that makes even the top 100 mistakes the media has made about the man.
He *is* an oaf. The absolute stupidest man alive. An overgrown toddler who stamps his feet and demands everything now now now.

The “mistake” the media made was pretending he was anything else. That his outrageous statements were exaggerations for effect, that his obvious lies were sincere errors, that he didn’t mean every fucking imbecilic word he uttered, that there were “grown-ups” who would give him his binkie.

But of course it wasn’t a mistake. The entire media just wanted him to win and they got it.
