I started paying for youtube just to watch Cobra Kai season 1 and did not expect to be swayed so easily by having no ads ever. For that matter, I'm utterly shocked it's been that long. I got the corresponding spinal tingling and reassured myself that I don't miss the money.

Vacuum leak plus spark plugs needed replacement. Cost more than I make in a week but nowhere near as catastrophic as I was expecting.McAvoy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 1:27 amThat's called surging.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 1:08 amStarted rattling and the engine's RPM dial started swinging like a metronome so pulled over ASAP. No noticable smell, no fluids leaking. Passed inspection a month ago.McAvoy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 12:13 amWhat happened? Could be minor, could be looking for a new vehicle tomorrow.
Could be anything as simple as a vacuum leak which is a literal $5 fix if you find it, or various sensors. Honestly shouldn't be too expensive.
But knock on wood.
Tragedy tomorrow; comedy tonight!

Depending on how much you make in a week that could either be a bargain or a ripoff. Both of those shouldn't be that expensive even with hours calculated in.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 9:56 pmVacuum leak plus spark plugs needed replacement. Not my usual place but Triple A doesn't tow there for some reason.

Oh yeah don't use them. You could have done better with Midas or Meineke for the mainstream ones.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 1:15 pmI got slammed for labor. What you need to do is find a good mechanic. Just go to the small ones, get a feel for it. All you have to do is ask for an oil change. See how they are. If they are good, it will take less than hour. And that is it. If they push for something, then they are not it.
I got nothing to say here.

It was fun, although the chairs could have been better.
Just woke up from a nightmare that drew heavily from the TNG episode Night Terrors. It had Pulaski instead of Crusher, and the scene with all the corpses got way worse and went on way longer. *shudder*

I completed the first week of my new job! I think it might *knocks on wood* actually work out for me.

Cong rats! Though I suggest doing some work out by and for yourself, too.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 1:45 am I completed the first week of my new job! I think it might *knocks on wood* actually work out for me.
