Janeway compilation

Re: Janeway compilation
how about then a theory video explaining like some other video sites showing why she is crazy and just hiding it. like sevens deranged rantings when she dumped all that data into her brain was right

Are there legal issues as such?Dînadan wrote: If it wasn’t for the legal issues, I’d like to see Chuck dubbing over whole episodes with his parody characters.
If Chuck (or anyone really) released an audio track of original parody dialogue that synched up with an official recording (the official DVDs) a la what a group like Rifftrax does, then that audio track would not have any copyright material on it and so free from legal entanglements etc. Of course such an audio track requires a would-be viewer to have their own legitimate copy of the relevant episode and there are other logistical issues. So certainly a different kind of media then SFdebris usually produces (so not likely for that sort of reason), but I am not seeing a necessary legal barrier to such a confection...

Just cram them all in. Displays of Parody!Janeway's - put differently, our God Emperess's - love and compassion* for the entire Milky Way is worth the effort, I think.LavarosVA wrote:How would he narrow it down? Janeway does at least 3 crazy things an episode.

Re: Janeway compilation
An alternative would be to follow the format of 'Dragon Ball Z: Abridged', which produces a work off about 1/3 the length of the original work and includes a disclaimer that the 'following work is a parody...blah blah blah'.If Chuck (or anyone really) released an audio track of original parody dialogue that synched up with an official recording (the official DVDs) a la what a group like Rifftrax does, then that audio track would not have any copyright material on it and so free from legal entanglements etc. Of course such an audio track requires a would-be viewer to have their own legitimate copy of the relevant episode and there are other logistical issues.

that might be what he does when he runs out of episodes
