The Xindi arc gets off to a less than stellar start, with more setup/exposition, two episodes where the important material is backloaded, and a completely pointless episode. Better luck next time...?

TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
The Xindi arc continues to be a mess, with only one and a half episodes in this set actually relating to the crisis. The rest of the time, it's taken up with zombies, a one-sided love story, and an honest to god AU.

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
The arc makes a little progress with one episode involving time travel, but mostly noodles around, preaching about religious extremists, addressing the moral implications of cloning (albeit in a decent manner), and taking a detour to the Old West. Well, at least it's a change of scenery...

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
Season Three finally gets its act together, with two plot relevant episodes (including the return of a great supporting character), one extremely character driven episode, and an episode that's clearly functioning as a "catch your breath" break. I can get behind pretty much all of this.

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
The Xindi arc finally kicks into high gear, with battles, grey morality, grappling with emotions, and a very unexpected direction for the conflict to go. Plus, SFDebris gets namedropped twice.

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
The Xindi arc draws to an exciting (and generally well-earned) conclusion, with a visit from the future (technically past-future, but time travel's complicated enough as it is), various alliances, and a lot of weapons fire.

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
After tying up some lose ends (if you want to count the Temporal Cold War as a loose end) via alien Nazis and a not entirely happy homecoming, Enterprise begins the theme of the season, which is "Establish later Star Trek canon and make as many references as possible". To start, let's tackle genetic engineering, and throw a character played by Brent Spiner in there for good measure.

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
In this batch of reviews, we get the arc that tries to soften the Vulcans (even if the execution is kind of a disaster) and two standalone episodes, one of which foreshadows an encounter in TOS. As you might be able to guess, I like the standalone episodes better.

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
Two arcs for the price of one today; the first steps towards creating the Federation (with a nice big role for Jeffrey Combs/Shran), and the justification for a long-puzzled over aspect of Klingons (with a nice amount of angst for Malcolm/his fans).

Re: TV-366 Star Trek Reviews
Enterprise--and my project--comes to an end with a trip to the Mirror Universe, eyecandy in the form of Orion slave girls, and the beginning of the Federation. What? There's one last episode in there too? I don't know what you're talking about...
