I expect any part of my statments to be quouted.Rodan56 wrote:You quoted my entire thing just to show I made a mistake concerning a double negative I possibly made? Seems a bit excessive. I'll correct it either way but still. As for alt-right, that is the definition many are using within the movement to call themselves. So there you go.
So if 10& of rapists believed despite all the screaming and begging what they did was consensual you just say a lot of them say it was not rape they must be right.

A lot of douchebags on the internet were slagging the Polygon article.
Some more douchey than others.
But the article by Polygon really was crap.

I think someone pointed to me before, it's BECAUSE this game is a sort of bait and switch of being critical against conservative views as depicted in some of the trailers, is what triggered the "progressive" types. Or let's call them what they are. SJWs. This game triggers them, especially those in gaming "journalism". They seemed taken aback at how the game portrays a lot of conservative views and off hand comments like Hurk Sr. spouting "Obama loving libtard" without consequences.Antiboyscout wrote: That's my point. This game ticks all the progressive check boxes. Yet progressives are mad that it isn't racist or sexist enough.
My only bone to pick with Grace is they keep having her repeat the line "I haven't felt like this since Afghanistan" over and over again since I know guys who served there and at some point, I was like. "We get it! You served. Shut the fuck up"
The only thing about Nick's wife that stood out to me is, what I think, the tons of hair jell that would have been needed to maintain her hairstyle. It's very retro 80s/90s punk, which is kinda put of place.
I love the banter between companions you take with you and how the are talking directly to each other depending on who you got in your party.

Hurk Senior (i.e. "lib**** guy") is an incredibly corrupt politician who murders people to gerrymander his district and is an abusive father.
And apparently people didn't think he was enough of a conservative strawman.

Excalibur...you do realize that "triggered" is psychological terminology, mostly used in the context of PTSD, right?

It is also used today very commonly for anybody who is offended extremely by certain things

Yes. It is used that way by people with no respect for PTSD sufferers.
