SW The Old Republic: Sith Inquisitor

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Are you sure about that? As a New York native, I can tell you the first pizzeria in the US was Lombardi's in 1905; I'm pretty sure pizza was already in existence in Italy in the 1800s and brought over during the wave of immigration in the late 1800s/early 1900s.

And I'm not aware of any pasta dish where the sauce is served separately; the whole point is to finish the pasta in the sauce. Unless you mean Spaghetti & Meatballs or Spaghetti Bolognese, in which case you are correct - both are distinctly American dishes because meatballs are served on the side in Italy, and Bolognese is traditionally served with the thicker Tagliatelle or Papardelle noodles instead of Spaghetti. The 'Sunday Gravy' served with Spaghetti is an Italian-American descendant of Bolognese.

you are ware that what we consider pizza is not what the Italians created but an Americanization. Like the chinese food you have for lunch its not the same as its frequently modified to suit local tastes. Not saying its bad, i like it but its not the same as what they actually make in china.( Also a lack of heavy metals from the polluted farm land)

That aside.

I agree with chuck on this class being interesting and cool, its one of the things you don't see as much in star wars official works. Over all i really like this kind of stuff and wish we could see more of it

I got the info from Good Eats though I might be mistaken on the Pizza side of things I am 100% sure that Spaghetti is an American Original.

I found it interesting to discover Chuck got into the game just to play the Sith Inquisitor, or specifically the Sorcerer. And it's been over five years since I last played the story so it'll be interesting to see Chuck go through it.

Well so far, dumb down elements after launch not withstanding, I don't think I've ever seen Chuck having so much fun while reviewing a game. I mean just compare Winter, (The Sith not me) with his other video game protagonists. In the other games they're pretty much a Universal punching bag while Winter seems to enjoy most of her time on her adventure.

I think they actually cover that later in the game, others had tried it before but the Inquisitor's blood ties to spoiler: Lord Kallig made it possible.

I think a lot of credit has to go to the VA who adds such snark and joy into her performance as the Female Inquisitor. The appropriately named for Star Wars: Xanthe Elbrick. When the Cathar race was released I had a lot of fun running a scantily clad catgirl assassin who gets to marry Spike Spiegel. (don't judge me ;) )

Looked up her IMDB. I'm surprised she hasn't done anything else since SWTOR was released.
Thread ends here. Cut along dotted line.

I love Alton Brown. I've seen that episode - the relevant portion is still on the Food Network site here (warning: watching the video requires disabling your Adblock). He makes the same point I do - it's only specifically spaghetti with meat sauce (Bolognese) which is an American thing; pasta/noodles with meat sauce predated it in Italy for ages. Traditionally, big, heavy sauces (like Bolognese) are paired with big, heavy pastas (like tagliatelle).

I had to look up the history of pizza; the term itself is ancient (and once referred to any flat bread with toppings). Modern pizza (with cheese and a tomato sauce) did not happen until much later, but it definitely originated in Naples well before it was introduced to America. Dangit, now I'm nostalgic for back when the History channel showed actual history.

Out of all the Player Character stories, I always had the most fun with the Sith Inquisitor. Glad to know that Chuck also has a fondness for that old black magic.

Two weeks for part two? and this one is planned from the start? you've been around that Linkara guy for too long Chuck. He's not one to imitate, hell, he dedicated this entire year to making sure stuff as old as 10 years will finally get a continuation. And be careful of that Moarte fellow, and no, it's not just because he's a stinking ghoul, the lowest of the low when it comes to the living dead, he's planning something big for later in the year.
If Chuck or a mod reads this feel free do delete my account. I would do it myself but I don't seem to be able to find a delete account option. phpBB should have such an option but I guess this isn't stock phpBB.
